[cairo] Snow Leopard Installation

Hi,

I am following instructions on:

http://cairographics.org/end_to_end_build_for_mac_os_x/

I got to this point:

./configure --prefix=${BuildDir} --disable-dependency-tracking

But I was rewarded with this error message:

checking whether we are cross compiling... configure: error: in `/Users/darnold/BuildCairo/libpng':
configure: error: cannot run C compiled programs.
If you meant to cross compile, use `--host'.

What does this mean and what should I do now?
