Hello,

how much effort is the addition of ARGB6666 or ARGB8656 to
cairographics, or pixman, or both? Which area's of code are affected?

I have an application where I need to provide the alpha channel on a
24-bit LCD bus to an external device.

I might put this project into a code bounty project.
