[cairo] cairo tests fail 341 and 7 crashed

Hi,

I'm building Cairo from source so that I can use it with NCL-NCARG on my
HPC cluster.  However, NCL keeps complaining about the surface_record in
Cairo.

I am able to build Cairo, but it fails a number of tests.  What am I doing
wrong?
