[cairo] Cairo C Samples ported to RCairo/ Ruby

Hi Everyone,

Over the past couple of days, I ported the C samples from the Cairo 
website to Ruby using RCairo.

Separately, I have a question about the last sample:
https://www.cairographics.org/samples/text_extents/

The image on the original site is clipped but when I ran the code, it 
seems that the sample does not do what it should. I made some small 
changes to the code. Both the original and modified pictures are at the 
last one on the blog page above. Inputs welcome.
