[cairo] Building on Windows

Thanks a lot for the project file !
cairo, zlib, & libpng were all built successfully. But I'm trying to get
past this error for pixman :

pixman-vmx.c
c:\pixman-0.14.0\pixman\altivec.h(37) : fatal error C1189: #error :  Use the
"-maltivec" flag to enable PowerPC AltiVec support


This isn't eliminated even if I define __ALTIVEC__ or __VEC__ , which
trigger the #error. How is this dealt with ?
